October 1990 Issue 58

In response to the cover tape wars hotting up, YS starts its Four-Pack tapes, the cover price rising to £1.85 to compensate the extra cost. This tape has Tau Ceti (CRL, 9, January 1986), Rebel (Virgin, 8, March 1989), Feud (Bulldog, 8/10, April 1986) and a demo of Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Super Off-Road Racer (Virgin). A very good start indeed!     Alan Miles and Bruce Gordon (founders of in-receivership MGT) start up SAM Computers Ltd (SAMCo) to support current SAM owners.     The first ever SAM game gets reviewed.     YS Guide to flight sims.     Ocean announces its Christmas '90 games, highlights being Robocop II and Chase HQ II - Special Criminal Investigation.
