Issue Eleven - Nov 29, 2000

OPI : 2000

FastCounter by LinkExchange

Almost a year has gone past in issue-time (number 12 being the marker), and this month sees us ringing a few changes. Following Nathan’s run-in with a collapsed lung (no, what was he really up to?), I’ve done the letters and sent threatening letters to all our wonderful contributors; and what’s more, just as you were recovering from the loss of the fantastic feature on emulation, the Top 101 draws to a close so very soon. But then that just leaves room for new and - dare we say it? - even more exciting Spectrum-related journalism. (As soon as we can think of some, that is.)

Anyway, enough of this - issue 11 awaits in all its majestic glory. Enjoy!

Cheers,
Jon Hyde, acting editor

The YS3 Guarantee of Value
This magazine comes from Bristol, a city with a population of 100,000-ish in the South-West of England, founded, ooh, ages ago but which now has all the national importance of three inch disks. We offer:

  • Better Advice. - Our titles are brimming with tips, suggestions and explanatory features, written by a bunch of people who have trouble finding their hands let alone their keyboards and desks.
  • Stronger Reviews. - We have a fairly rickety policy of editorial independence. You could always try bribing us.
  • Clearer Design. - Mmmm, dig dat funky new logo thang!
  • Greater Relevance. - No, really.
  • More Reader Interaction. - Especially with the female ones.
  • Better Value For Money. - Well, it's free, isn't it? What do you want, blood?
  • No references to Dawson's bloody Creek. - Apart from just then, obviously.

Underneath a sky of red is a storyteller sleeping alone/He has no face and he has no name and his whereabouts are somewhat unknown It may be too late for Halloween, but what's the scariest monster you can think of?
