YS really gets into trouble over its choice of cover - a picture of Page 3 girl Corrine Russell dressed in a leopard-skin bikini and a whip advertising Martech's Vixen.     The cover tape returns with the so-so Blind Panic by Martech.     Amstrad is seen meeting with people involved with the ill-fated Loki project sparking rumours of a Z80-based console to compete with Sega and Nintendo.     Adventure holidays reviewed.     Play-by-mail feature Postman's Knock starts.     Regular hardware feature Rage Hard starts.     Your Sinclair's circulation increases to 80,368, making it the second best-selling Spectrum magazine. Presumably the top magazine at that time was Crash.     Ocean gears up for Christmas by getting the Operation Wolf licence, and all signs were that Christmas '88 was going to be another classic Christmas for Speccy owners.     Star Paws gets released. It actually started out as Attack of the Mutant Flesh Eating Zombie Chickens From Mars (Starring Zappo The Dog), written by one Matthew Smith, but due to internal difficulties, the game never got completed to Smith's original design. Star Paws was the Spectrum conversion of the C64 parallel conversion of the original Spectrum game. Confused? Good.     John Minson takes a look at how movie game tie-ins are shaping up.
