The best Spectrum game ever written, Head Over Heels, is released.     Palace's Barbarian advert (featuring Maria Whittaker and Gladiator's Wolf, both wearing very little) causes a stir.     Matthew Smith's new game Attack of the Mutant Zombie Flesh Eating Chickens From Mars (Starring Zappo the Dog) is advertised. It hasn't been seen since, and Matthew Smith disappeared. In 1999, he resurfaced again after an interesting life spent mostly in Holland...     AOTMZFECFM(SZTD) is eventually written and released by someone else under the name "Star Paws".     Wargames special.     The British Micro Federation announces it's going to award silver, gold and platinum cassettes for best-selling games if it sells 50,000, 100,000 or 200,000 copies respectively.
