The Story So Far

12/07/11: I've just uploaded a short two-minute animation advertising the site relaunch to YouTube. Whilst it's quick'n'dirty, bump up the resolution to fullscreen 1080p HD for a wallow in all those game adverts (if your computer can handle it). If you can't handle 1080p HD then don't worry, YouTube's downgrades seem to be OK.
23/05/11: Real Life Stuff has got in the way of things again, but some site stuff is going on in the background. The site's becoming alive again, going to become more interactive, and is going to dabble with Facebook and Twitter. For Daily Fix posts and site updates, follow @YourSinclairRRY on Twitter, or "like" the Your Sinclair Rock'n'Roll Years fan page on Facebook. Things should start getting exciting in the Summer.
29/01/11: Lots of Speccy game action captured - including the very last one to be captured for the whole series. Now to sort out the non-Speccy game footage. I've kinda been thinking about this for the past ten years - how do you capture a portion of the desktop in Windows? Or even the full screen? I have a few programs to try out - hopefully it's not as big a problem it once was as there's some good stuff I want to cover. Have you seen Head Over Heels in 256 colours? How about its awesome PC remake by Retrospec? Both deserve a spot in the final chapter. A few Real Life things have to happen before I'm in a position to take that footage, but shouldn't be too long.
22/01/11: Storyboards done for the prequel AND the Big Final Chapter, running at around 7 and 14 minutes long respectively. My gut feeling is that this will get done - I'm even starting to feel excited about it. It'll be "interesting" juggling Real Life Stuff with this, though - just as well I have two years to play with... Will have to find out when I started drafting the documentary way back in 2002 and figure out precisely when the 10th Anniversary of the start is...
15/01/11: 2012: 30 years after the launch of the Spectrum. 20 years after the last Spectrum was made. 10 years after work on the documentary started. I still haven't found anything to do during the times when I'm wiped and flaking out and not in the mood to think or move, and it's bothering me that the series wasn't completed.
