HAYLP!

OK, you've seen the site, but you can't quite "get" all the features on each page. Indeed, there may be some features which you don't even know about, so here's a quick run-down...

The Header

Every page is branded with a common header. This allows people who have entered the site via a search engine to know just where they've reached. Every header has a toolbar which has some or all of the following buttons:

Prev This button appears on the Issue Summary Peges and takes you to the page for the previous issue. If you're on the first issue, it is greyed out.

Next This button also appears only on the Issue Summary Pages and takes you to the next issue. Greyed out is you're on the final issue.

Front Page Takes you to the front page of the site.

Article Index Takes you to the Article Index.

Takes you to the Search page. Remember to leave the words "your sinclair" at the end of the search string, otherwise you'll probably get hits from other ClaraNET-hosted websites!

Joystick Jugglers Takes you to the Joystick Jugglers page, where you can gain valuable insight into the background lives of the YS Crew.

E-Mail Me Send me a private e-mail that isn't for publication.

Guestbook Sign my guestbook for everyone to see.

Issue Summary Tables

These are the pages which give summaries of what's in each issue, complete with ratings.
Did you know that the thumbnail of the magazine cover is clickable? If you do that, you'll download the full-size scan of the cover.
The summary page itself is split into the following sections:

    The Articles section is a list of all the articles that I've scanned from this issue and put onto this site. Game names with (SAM) after it means that it's a review for a game for the SAM Coupe.
    The General section gives a brief overview of the features in that issue of the magazine, along with details of what's on the cover tape, and what news was reported for that month.
    Clicking the tape icon goes to the cover tape section of the World of Spectrum Archive so you can download the contents of that month's cover tape.
    The Previews and Review sections are game previews and reviews. The Misc Reviews section lists reviews for Adventure games, utilities and other stuff.

You'll find the following icons next to game names, and they do the following actions relating to the game they're next to:

	Search WoS Archive
	View Game Screenshot
	Read Original Review
	Read Re-Release Review
	Read Entry in Compilation Review

The contents of the table are fairly self-explanitory. You can do two things in this table. Clicking on the issue details takes you to the summary page for that issue. Clicking on the WOS button searches the World Of Spectrum archive for the game being reviewed, in this case Firefly.
