H.A.T.E./Gremlin P (YS38, PRE)
H.A.T.E./Gremlin (YS42, 90)
Mega shoot 'em up from Gremlin. Nothing incredibly imaginative, but what's there is excellently programmed and brilliantly executed.
HRH/8th Day (YS12, 7)
Hacker II/Activision (YS15, 9)
Hammerfist/Activision (YS54, 87)
A well thought-out and rather thrill-packed beat-'em-up/puzzler. Pretty massive too.
Hammerfist C (YS66, 87)
As part of the Coin-Op Hits II compilation.
Hands Of Stone/Beyond Belief (YS85, 70)
Difficulty level aside, a neat little beat-'em-up.
Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Character Collection, The/Hi-Tec (YS74, 39)
Hard Drivin'/Domark (YS49, 90)
Difficult to master, technically accomplished arcade/driving sim with brilliant graphics. If you like flight sims you'll definitely get your money's worth!!
Hard Drivin' C (YS58, 81)
As part of the TNT compilation.
Hard Drivin' C (YS60, 84)
As part of the Wheels Of Fire compilation.

Hardball C (YS41, 70)
As part of the Command Performance compilation.
Harvey Headbanger/Firebird (YS15, 7)
Head Coach/Addictive (YS11, 8)
Head Over Heels/Ocean (YS18, 9)
Head Over Heels/Hit Squad r (YS56, 98)
Head The Ball C (YS52, 60)
As part of the 4th Dimension compilation.
Heartland/Odin (YS10, 9)
Heatwave/Hewson (YS44, 90)
Six of the best from Hewson. Fun-packed variety and unbeatable value.
Heavy Metal/US Gold (YS50, 75)
A colourful romp through the wonderful world of armoured warfare. Different types of game, different levels of quality.
Helichopper/Firebird (YS8, 5)
Hellfire Attack/Martech (YS38, 4)
An uninspired chopper game. Give it the chop.
Helter Skelter/Audiogenic (YS65, 94)
'Wicked' cutsie platform game that's more addictive than a very addictive thing.
Helter Skelter/Audiogenic (YS92, 79)
If I had to choose between this and a stoat in the ear, I'd plump for Helter Skelter.
Hercules: Slayer Of The Damned/Gremlin (YS32, 4)
A Herculean failure with about as much content as an empty bag.
Hermitage, The/Pegasus (YS48, 80)
Hero Quest/Gremlin (YS65, 86)
Engaging arcade adventure/good board game conversion. Hours of fun with your friends!
Heroes/Domark (YS57, 78)
Four really quite decent 'hero' games in one big box. Ever so slightly pricey, however.
Heroes Of The Lance/US Gold (YS39, 9)
Blockbusting conversion of popular RPG with heaps of dragon-slaying action. Lots to get your teeth into. Grooooooowwwlll!
Hexagonia (SAM)/Revelation (YS73, 84)
Hideous/Alternative (YS81, 70)
Plesant enough maze-y, pushy block-y kind of game that's, sadly, too dated to be brilliant.
High Frontier/Activision (YS26, 7)
High Steel/Screen 7 (YS45, 56)
An appealing idea that just doesn't work in practice. Dull and frustrating.
Hijack/Electric Dreams (YS9, 8)
Hired To Kill/Tom Powell (YS88, 50)
History In The Making/US Gold (YS38, 6)
Hobbit, The C (YS49, UNR)
As part of the The Tolkien Trilogy compilation.
Hobble Hunter, The/Compass (YS53, 50)
Hobgoblin/Atlantis (YS69, 59)
   A distinctly tacky walk-along-shooting-things game that's okay(ish) underneath.
Hocus Focus/Quicksilva (YS7, 6)
Hollywood Collection/Ocean (YS60, 87)
Three and a half strong games, and all big names too - excellent value for beginners.
Hong Kong Phooey C (YS74, 41)
As part of the The Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Character Collection compilation.
Hopping Mad/Elite (YS33, 8)
Scrolling bouncy ball avoid 'em/collect 'em-up. Inflatable 'tear your hair out just one more go' frolics. Almost as addictive as banana Nesquik.
Hopping Mad C (YS44, 81)
As part of the The Story So Far Volume II compilation.
Hostages/Infogrames (YS58, 73)
Nicely presented arcade strategy game, well put together, but just not quite 'it'.
Hot Rod/Activision (YS54, 55)
A pretty average driving game with a horrible flipping way of doing things.
Hotshot/Addictive (YS35, 8)
If you're looking for a futuristic sports sim, then check this one out! 'Cos Hotshot is hot!
How To Be A Complete Bastard/Virgin (YS23, 7)
A routine arcade-adventure based on the bestselling book. Not for the weak of stomach.
How To Be A Hero/Mastertronic (YS17, 6)
Howard The Duck/Activision (YS19, 7)
Hudson Hawk/Ocean (YS72, 80)
It's big and it's absorbing. Sort of like a fluffy towel, really.
Human Killing Machine/US Gold (YS40, 7)
Not US Gold's greatest moment, but a creditable attempt to update the beat 'em up for the modern market. Should provide hours of fun for all you beat 'em up enthusiasts out there.
Hunchback - The Adventure/Ocean (YS10, 4)
Hunchback arcade screenshots A
Hunt For Red October, The/Argus (YS28, 7)
Bet you never knew controlling a submarine could be so tricky. Check it out first.
Hunt For Red October, The/Grandslam (YS66, 66)
Hmm. The bits don't hang together as well as they should. The shoot-'em-up parts are fun though.
Hydra/Domark (YS67, 49)
Completely crap Tengen coin-op conversion about speedboats. Don't even think about it.
Hydra C (YS76, 30)
As part of the TNT II compilation.
Hydra arcade screenshots A
Hydrofool/FTL (YS20, 8)
Watery frolics with Sweevo that'll delight anyone who enjoyed the original. But underneath it's not that much different.
Hydrofool C (YS47, 77)
As part of the Christmas Collection compilation.
Hypa Raid/Atlantis (YS2, 7)
Hyper Sports arcade screenshots A
Hyperbowl/Mastertronic (YS15, 7)
Hypersonic II Demo (PD)/Pentagram (YS86, 78)
Hysteria/Software Projects (YS24, 9)
Well-balanced march and blast game with so much chrome it could dazzle you. Stay calm and play it.
