Captain Fizz Meets The Blaster-trons/Psyclapse (YS44, 78)    A fun Gauntlet clone, with some original extra elements which make it really playable. A good start from Psyclapse. Captain Kook/Paul Cardin (YS62, 80) Captain Planet/Mindscape (YS75, 49)    Pretentious and exploitative attempt to ride on the success of the TV show. The game's pretty bad as well. Challenge + Davy Jones' Locker, The/Jack Lockerby (YS21, 7) Challenge Of The Gobots/Reaktor (YS21, 8)     Very fast. Definitely one for the seasoned shoot 'em up fan. Shame about the colours, though. Championship Baseball/Gamestar (YS21, 8)    A clever sports simulation let down slightly by the Spectrum's limitations and the obscure nature of the game. Championship Basketball/Gamestar (YS22, 8)    Clever and close simulation of a sport which lends itself to computerisation, but limited by the long game. Championship Jet Ski Simulator (YS68, UNR)    As part of the Quattro Racers compilation. Championship Run/Impulze (YS65, 68)    An ordinary (and slightly crap) driving game. Championship Run/Zeppelin (YS75, 84) Championship Sprint/Electric Dreams (YS29, 6)    Super Sprint part two. More of the same plus an easy to use track designer program on the other side of the tape. Cholo (YS41, 72)    As part of the Command Performance compilation. Christmas Collection/Hewson (YS47, 93)    One of the best compilations floating around. Requires little in the way of brainpower, but on Boxing Day that's probably just as well. Chronos/Mastertronic (YS19, 8) Chubby Gristle/Grandslam (YS33, 5)    An arid game: dried-up gameplay, dessicated graphics, not one to quench your addictive thirsts. Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Trainer/Electronic Arts (YS43, 70)    For 128K flight sim fans and people interested in flying this could be well entertaining. For the remainder - a tad dodgy, overly complex and difficult to master. Cisco Heat/Mirrorsoft (YS74, 68)    Cisco Heat doesn't take racing games places they've never been. Interesting, but let down by feeble instructions. Shame really. Clock Chess/CP Software (YS39, 7)    Fabby Chess program for the Speccy, let down by poor graphics. Cloud 99/Marlin (YS35, 8) Cobra/Ocean (YS14, 8) Coin-Op Hits II/US Gold (YS66, 78)    A compilation of 5 generally alright (and very violent) games. Just teeters above average. Colditz Story, The/Atlantis (YS27, 6)    Not the most gripping arcade/adventure in the known universe but you may still find it hard to escape! Combat School/Ocean (YS26, 9)    Fine conversion with enough to keep you occupied until next Easter. Tone up the waggling muscles first, though. Cricket Captain/D&H (YS67, 67)    If you like management sim and cricket, this might 'bowl' you 'over', but the appeal is limited. Crisis At Christmas (YS19, UNR)    As part of the Six-In-One compilation. Critical Mass (YS13, UNR)    As part of the Big Four compilation. Cromwell At War/CCS (YS67, 74)    Solid and playable wargame. Could serve as an okay intro to the 'genre'. Crossfire (YS75, 57)    As part of the Atlantis Four Game Pack compilation. Crosswize/Firebird (YS31, 9)    Supa'-doopa' graphics, arcade style difficulty, and faultless programming make this game a classic - on a par with Zynaps.
